At the recent Penfro Book Festival at Rhosygilwen, I was honoured to be named the overall winner of the radio drama competition (chosen by the Penfro audience). It was a delight to watch my script, the Companion, performed and recorded on site and then to see it performed once more at the end of the day in front of a live audience.
The brief was for a two-hander ten minute script on any subject. The Companion follows the story of a widow who is bought an android to ease her loneliness.

Penfro chair Sue Lewis said: “Thank you to everyone who attended and took part in this vibrant literary event plus also our sponsors who have been so generous in their support.”
